With embroidery increasing at an alarming rate, directors chose to add another service and purchase machinery which enables embossing to be carried out on virtually any material. With almost 70 heads of embroidery capability and the expanding embossing department, Directors agree that the current premises are too small to realise the massive potential of this emerging company and so decide to transfer to a larger building from where Slick Stitch now directs all of it's operations. Further investment is incurred in an 8 colour automated printing carousel which enables printing on a massive area, upto 39 x 29 inches. This adds to an already impressive arsenal and ensures a complete and comprehensive service is available. Two further departments emerge; High Frequency Welding and labelling/relabelling - packing/finishes. The first has proven to be extremely popular with sportswear companies, football clubs and the later ensures everything required from decorating to finishing is possible under one roof. Top of the range computerised software and hardware is invested in, to enable any design be embroidered.
